With a background in science for over 30 years, he specializes in translating the rigours of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust curriculum into engaging, relatable sessions for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Rory’s academic achievements includes WSET L2, L3 & L4 (diploma) in wine receiving the prestigious Derouet-Jameson award and a distinction in the WSET diploma. His qualifications also include the acclaimed Wine Scholar Guild Spanish Wine Scholar & French Wine Scholar. When he’s not delivering wine courses, he spends time visiting vineyards & wineries to link the essential theory with the practical realities for growers and producers in diverse wine producing regions around the world.
